INCA® IDICS (INCA® Data Information Control System) is a server-based software for access control and time recording from INCA. It is the result of more than 15 years of development work and decades of experience in setting up electronic access systems and recording and processing times. Our IDICS time recording software can be operated both as a cloud solution in our ibes AG data center and as an on-premise solution directly at the customer's premises. While a cloud solution offers the advantage that the customer never has to worry about hardware maintenance or software updates and always has access to the latest software version, a solution hosted at the customer's premises is less dependent on a network connection and may be somewhat cheaper.

Our INCA® IDICS access control and time recording software has a modular basic structure. This structure enables us to adapt the system to the individual needs of each customer. At the same time, you still have the option of expanding the system quickly and easily in terms of both the number of people and technology managed and its functions. There are currently two INCA® IDICS main modules, which are based on the basic module. They can be used separately or together. As both main modules use the same master data, data only needs to be maintained in one central location.

• Theaccess control module impresses with its all-encompassing view of all accesses, regardless of the medium used. You can generate additional added value by linking it to an intruder alarm system or using the integrated guest management system.
• The second main module, personnel time recording, maps all processes relating to attendance times for you. From time recording, processing and evaluation to the transfer of balances to third parties, this module ensures that your processes are automated and your efficiency is increased as a result.

IDICS Features

The IDICS basic system forms the basis for the access control and time recording function modules. This is where the general master data (clients, regions, branches, organizational structure, badges, events, etc.) is managed. Below you will find an overview of the most important system features of the software.

With its modules, IDICS provides you with an expandable overall concept for companies with 10 customers up to the four-digit range. Regardless of whether your company is growing and the amount of managed data is increasing, whether you start with just one main function such as access control and later expand to time management, for example, or whether you want to add the key management module to access control: All expansion options are open to you.

Thanks to its highly optimized database design, IDICS guarantees stable and reliable performance even after years and with full data volumes. When migrating ID cards, IDICS supports the process by allowing different ID card formats and several ID cards can be assigned to one person, enabling a gradual changeover without interfering with daily work. Thanks to the Java-based architecture, the system is platform-independent and can be used in mixed operating system environments without any problems. All manually changeable data can be tracked in an audit-proof manner, and the data volume can be stored without restriction and automatically archived if required.
